Emu Park Anzac Day 2015 – Record Crowds in attendance for the first Anzac Commemoration – Anzac Court.
The best Dawn Service turnout ever for Emu Park. Possibly as many as 5,000 people helped us remember those who gave their lives in wars. Many stayed on for a look at the Anzac memorial and boardwalk.
Last Saturday (18th April 2015) a huge crowd turned up for the official opening of the project stage one. The result has surpassed everyone’s imagination and we have a world class memorial and public place to the envy of many regions. A huge credit to everyone concerned, we were ready to host what may be one of the largest Anzac day events in the history of our small town. …. (Many thanks go to our contributors)
